Original No Props book by Mark Collard 1996This is the original No Props book, written by Mark Collard in 1996.

It was a simple 60-page monograph and shared 25 x highly-successful interactive group games that used no equipment whatsoever.

Published by Project Adventure Australia, it was written to form part of a national competition pack produced by Uncle Tobys (a major cereal manufacturer) that was sent to every school in Australia to promote a series of sporting camps it was sponsoring.

There are approx 10,000 primary and secondary schools in Australia, so this first edition No Props book quickly became one of the most successful activity books in the country.

Later Editions

The success of the original No Props book led Project Adventure (USA) to publish an expanded No Props: Great Games with No Equipment in 2005 (out of print) featuring 140+ interactive group games & activities, again written by Mark.

The book was thoroughly rewritten and slightly renamed in 2018 to No Props No Problem: 150+ Outrageously Fun Group Games & Activities using No Equipment. It was self-published by Mark’s company playmeo.

No Props No Problem remains the only edition still in print and is sold by many outlets including playmeo and Amazon.
