    Just tried this with a group of 10 year olds following the theme of connectedness.
    We started with Gotcha (to prepare the pointer & warm it up!) followed by Ubuntu cards in 2’s to small groups and then on to this in small groups. There wasn’t the time (or concentration span) to extend the activity to the different variations as I’d have liked. Success was achieved – not necessarily in the lifting of the bricks – in understanding the ‘connection’ between working together in a small game and working in the class and as children/people in the community.

      Terrific stuff Gwyn. Always nice to reinforce (es with young people) that it’s the journey that matters, and not always the destination!
