From Low to High in Less Than a Minute

the Lazy Facilitator: Episode 05

Got a group that’s feeling flat, or perhaps they’ve been sitting too long and just need a little energy boost?

Try this 60-second energiser and I promise you’ll soon have them bouncing off the wall.

The activity is called Gotcha and the name says it all. It’s all about each person trying to catch the finger of someone whose finger is in their palm.

Click play in the video below to see exactly what this looks like in practice, but basically, each person’s finger is sitting in the palm of another person.

Then, when someone says “GO” – which I find works pretty well to start a game – everyone tries to catch the finger of the person whose finger is in their palm while at the same time avoiding having their finger caught.

Oh, and if you catch your partner’s finger, you say “GOTCHA!”
