New – Discovering Positive Education Online

Attention all teachers & professional educators:

I highly recommend checking out this new online professional development course from my friends at the Institute of Positive Education.

Given all the challenges and changes that have presented this year, the team at the Institute has spent significant time redesigning their foundational Discovering Positive Education (DPE) course into an online, experiential format.

If you’re new to positive education, it’s all about building and supporting a curriculum that places student and teacher wellbeing at the centre of your school community.

Their new 8-week blended-learning course (live + asynchronous elements) draws on a broad range of human and wellbeing sciences to give educators an excellent grounding in the principles and application of Positive Education.

Key enhancements to DPE 2.0 include:

  • Increased accessibility & flexibility
  • Fully revised content & updated research
  • Opportunity to work closely with an international cohort over an 8-week period
  • Access to engaging, custom video content exploring each of the key pillars of Positive Education
  • Weekly collaboration sessions where you connect live and online with your cohort (choice of two time zones)
  • Weekly ‘experiment’ – allowing you to trial and reflect on a specific wellbeing strategy or idea in your classroom, school or home
  • An innovative, hand-built, peer-to-peer learning environment where participants share reflections and offer each other feedback on weekly experiments
  • Opportunity to complete a final Impact Project
  • Access to IPE’s new Membership program
  • Reduced cost
