One of my all-time favourite ice-breakers has been Categories – a wonderfully simple, non-threatening and, above all, fun way for people to interact by discovering things that they have in common with others.
For those who are unfamiliar with the exercise, you do this by announcing a series of ‘categories’ and invite people to find others who belong to the same grouping.
