Who’s Shaping the Way You Facilitate?

Which Facilitators Do You Follow (and Can’t Live Without?)

the Lazy Facilitator Episode 25

I want to ask you something I genuinely don’t know the answer to.

In the world of facilitation, training, and professional development, who do you follow so closely that if their newsletter, their podcast, or their video didn’t show up, you would actually notice?

I’ve got two people in mind, but I’d love to know who you follow, and I have an exclusive bonus to share with every single person who leaves a comment below.

The first person I would definitely miss every day in my inbox is Seth Godin, without question. He’s a brilliant thinker who consistently challenges me to make something happen, to be in action. I never miss his posts.

And Chad Littlefield. Yes, he’s a good friend and esteemed colleague, but I follow him because he is extraordinarily well-read, and I learn an enormous amount through the lens he brings to our field.

Here’s What I Genuinely Want To Know

Who else is out there for you?

Not me, not Chad. Who are the people in your world who are quietly shaping the way you facilitate, lead, or design experiences?

Drop their name in the comments below and tell me in one line why you follow them. I’d love to know who they are, and I think the facilitation community deserves to know, too.

And now here’s that bonus I promised.

Every person who drops a comment below will get an exclusive 30% discount to subscribe to playmeo’s activity database – the ultimate toolkit of icebreakers, energisers, and team-building activities.

It’s one way I can say thank you for being here.

I can’t wait to hear from you.

Chris Cavert for sure. He is easily relatable and generous to share ideas and activities. He has similar experiences and works with groups that line up with my work. I do watch Chad and I have gained valuable information from him, but his audience is different from my audience so he doesn’t always address the areas that I need guidance in.

Agreed Karen, Chris absolutely deserves to be on the list. We’ve know each other for many years – I really value his endless search for new ideas!

Mark – So grateful for all you do to provide the world with activity ideas, and love the opportunity to acknowledge the generosity and impact of others who I’ve benefitted from discovering and connecting with online. Chad Littlefield is amazing with connection. And Kerri Price is fantastic with fun ideas for facilitated events. Looking forward to learning of more as others share!

Thanks for sharing Sean 🙂 HT to @KerriPriceNZ from me as well. We met for the first time when I attended her Festival of Facilitation event last year in NZ and I concur – she is a rockstar.
