Energiser games for training provide an opportunity for group members to ‘get the blood moving’ and often include time-fillers, co-operative games and non-traditional warm-ups and stretches (which may also happen to develop balance, confidence and co-ordination skills.)
Much like ice-breakers and get-to-know-you games, energising warm-up activities provide the perfect mechanism to help your group to feel more comfortable with one another. Even if your group know one another very well, it’s always a good idea to punctuate your program with a few laughs.
Some of the simplest and quickest activities to boost the energy of your group last only 30 seconds and can be played in pairs and small groups, while other activities may involve your whole group for 5 to 10 minutes.
