Podcast: Essential Props & Tools Every Facilitator Should Carry

By
Experiential Trainer, Author & Speaker

The team at High 5 Adventure Learning creates a wonderful podcast (Vertical Playpen) in which they interview group facilitators from all over the world to discuss a wide variety of interesting topics.

My first interview with host, Phil Brown, was in his car – the most sound-proofed space we could find at the time – more than 5 years ago. If you listen carefully, you may even hear the rain on the car’s roof 🙂

The Top 5 Props We Never Leave Home Without

In this episode, Phil and I compare our personal lists of the top team-building props we carry to every program, training and event we lead.

In case you’re wondering, we did not discuss our lists with each other in advance. So, while you may not be surprised by some of our choices, it is highly unlikely you could have predicted the composition each of our two lists. There are certainly some surprises.

Revealed:
Mark’s List of 5 Favourite Team-Building Props

Out of pure coincidence, Phil recorded this podcast episode a few weeks after I recorded a video sharing the very same list of my top five team-building tools. This video was published yesterday.

It’s worth a few minutes to watch because I provide a lot more detail behind my reasons for curating this list of tools.
